If you told me 3 years ago I'd be beaming as much as I am today, I would absolutely have thought you were lying! From the moment Anthony and I met, it has been one adventure after another. Now as newlyweds, we are bracing ourselves for our most amazing adventure yet--parenthood!!! WE ARE HAVING A BABY! (I still have to exclaim that at times to try to absorb the enormity of it all.) We couldn't be more excited to welcome our little munchkin to the world around July 28th!

Keeping the baby news from our families and under wraps (figuratively and literally!) until Christmas was one of the most challenging secrets we've ever had to keep! We were so happy that the timing worked out so well to enable such a fun reveal. It was such a relief to let everyone know our wonderful news!

The pics below are from our first and second ultrasounds, both of which were very emotional for us. The change in features between the two was so dramatic! In the 2nd one, Baby M is the size of a small lemon...about 3 inches and growing at a steady rate.

Our next ultrasound has not been scheduled yet, but it's the BIG one! At around 20 wks (the beginning of March), we'll find out if we'll be thinking in pinks or blues from that point on!
We just officially entered the 2nd trimester this past weekend; lots of milestones in store for us this trimester! My energy level has drastically increased (not to mention my appetite...*sigh*) and now we are working on getting the house in order for the arrival of our little one...and also for our wonderful guests that we plan to host. (hint, hint)
Our next Dr's appointment is tomorrow, and of course I'm dreading getting on that scale again, but I'm actually loving the "bump" that's officially formed now and am proudly flaunting it!
